Mitch Sanders, PhD is CEO of ProDevLabs LLC, a premier wound care R&D and Preclinical CRO. Mitch has 40 years of experience in diagnostics, preclinical animal models, and clinical product development of novel drugs, biologics, and medical devices. He has raised tens of millions of dollars from strategic partners such as Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, and Johnson & Johnson. He has 65+ peer reviewed papers and granted world-wide patents (Google Scholar citations, https://bit.ly/3otr4a3). Dr. Sanders has been a Founder, CEO, and/or CSO of companies including but not limited to Alira Health, ECI Biotech, Lobstagen, and WoundForce Inc. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Boston University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences and has completed two post-doctoral appointments at MIT.

Mimi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from Bristol University (2011), a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from University College London (2012), and a medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from King’s College London (2017) before she moved her life and career to the United States. She was inspired the research and career opportunities she witnessed during a Sub-internship with the Johns Hopkins Plastic Surgery Department in 2016.

Dr Leask [BSc (Brit. Col.) PhD (Chicago)] is an expert in how the connective tissue microenvironment contributes to scleroderma, melanoma and wound healing, most notably on contributions of the hypoxia/YAP targets CCN2 and CCN1. He participated in the early development of Roxadustat and pamrevmulab. He has ~200 peer-reviewed publications, an h index of 71, and is currently active in the leadership of the European Tissue Repair Society, the Skin Research Group of Canada and Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry, and is on the editorial board of journals such as Matrix Biology, AmJPathology and Wound Repair and Regeneration.

Dr. Daniel Kapp is a highly regarded board-certified plastic surgeon and has been in private practice for more than 15 years. He is the founder of Daniel L Kapp Plastic surgery. He performs many types of plastic and reconstructive surgeries. He has extensive experience treating post Mohs defects and is a highly regarded author on the topic. Dr. Kapp is an editor of Journal of Wound Care. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He also served as the Medical Director of the Wound Center at Jupiter Medical Center. Dr. Kapp graduated from medical school at the University of South Florida and Plastic Surgery Residency at Ohio State University.

Dr. Simman is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is the founding president and chair of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery, past president of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. He sits on the editorial board of the Annals of Plastic Surgery and the Journal of Wound Care.

He is Clinical Professor at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, Department of Surgery. He is the Director of the Wound Care Program at Jobst Vascular Institute/ProMedica Health Network, Toledo, Ohio.

His background includes training in General Surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York, NY and a Plastic Surgery residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in Southfield, Michigan. In addition, he completed a Burn Fellowship followed by a Wound Healing/Cultured Keratinocytes Research Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, letters and book chapters.

Dr. Henao is the Senior Director, Medical Affairs for Organogenesis and joined the company in 2016 as a Medical Science Liaison. Dr. Henao practiced as a Podiatric Physician and Surgeon specializing in wound care and diabetic limb salvage. She received her DPM from Barry University and completed her three-year podiatric surgical residency at South Miami Hospital. Dr. Henao also graduated with a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Florida International University.

Antonio S. Montecalvo has served as our Vice President, Health Policy since 2017. Since 2003, he has served in various roles at Organogenesis. Prior to joining, he served as Director of Accounting for Innovative Clinical Solutions, LTD, as Senior Contracts Specialist for UnitedHealth Group, and as a Senior Accountant for Piccerelli, Gilstein & Company, LLP. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island.

Dr. Jeffrey Niezgoda has dedicated his professional life to optimizing outcomes in wound healing. He is the Past President of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. He is Founder and President Emeritus of AZH Wound & Hyperbaric Center (2015-2021). Dr. Niezgoda was the Hyperbaric Medical Director at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee (1999-2013). Dr. Niezgoda serves as the CMO for Kent Imaging and for WebCME, an international educational wound care and hyperbaric company. Dr. Niezgoda is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy (1981) and received his MD from the Uniformed Services University of Health Science (1985).

Dr. Wu has more than 700 abstracts, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications and has served as Principal Investigator in more than 70 clinical research trials.  She has received more than 60 awards including the Edward James Olmos Limb Preservation Award and the Podiatry Management Lifetime Achievement Award.  Dr. Wu is a highly sought-after lecturer at national and international forums and has given over 600 keynote lectures and presentations in over 38 countries.  Dr. Wu has served on numerous advisory panels globally including Latin America, the Middle East, and India, to guide physicians in their treatment algorithms for the diabetic foot and wound healing.

Dr. William H. Tettelbach is a certified wound specialist physician actively board-certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Internal Medicine while retaining academic appointments at Duke University School of Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences. He currently serves as the Executive Medical Director of the newly established Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care Service line for the Mountain Division (Alaska, Idaho & Utah) of HCA Healthcare. His career has been dedicated to teaching providers and improving patients’ lives requiring the services of Hyperbaric Medicine, Advanced Wound Care, and Infectious Diseases. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Tettelbach is an active member of Noridian’s Contractor Advisory Committee (CAC) providing guidance in the development of Hyperbaric Medicine, Wound Care, and Infectious Diseases local coverage determinations. He is also a committee member for The Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders which acts as one of the voices for Hyperbaric Medicine in the Government Affairs health policy arena.

Dr. Roselle Crombie is a general surgeon in Fairfield, CT and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Bridgeport Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital. She received her medical degree from University of Connecticut School of Medicine and has been in practice 14 years. She specializes in general surgery, burn and trauma surgery & surgical critical care and burn reconstruction. She has board certifications in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and is fellowship trained in burn surgery.

John C. Lantis II, MD, is currently the site Chief of Surgery at Mount Sinai West Hospital, in mid-town Manhattan where he practices as a senior vascular surgeon. Prior to this he served as Vice Chairman for operations, for the Department of Surgery at both Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside since 2014, and the chief of Vascular and Endovascular surgery since 2007. He attained the academic rank of Professor of Surgery first at Columbia University in 2013, and subsequently in 2014 at the Icahn School of Medicine. In addition as co-chair of the Cardiovascular and interventional radiology value analysis committee, he has served on the corporate steering committee for value analysis since 2014.

Dr. William H. Dr. Groner is a board-certified wound care specialist and podiatrist for NOMS Ankle and Foot Care Centers in northeastern Ohio.  Dr. Groner attended Youngstown State University where he received his BS in biology and pre medicine. He attended the Ohio college of podiatric medicine where he received his doctorate in podiatric medicine. He completed a post graduate surgical residency program at Forum Health Northside in 2004. Currently Dr. Groner is the clinical director at the Aultman Hospital Wound and Hyperbaric Center. He has worked and consulted for various wound and hyperbaric centers and has lectured locally and nationally on various wound care topics.

Dr. Adam Isaac graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center (RWJBarnabas Health). He then completed a fellowship in Limb Preservation under the direction of Dr. David Armstrong. Dr. Isaac currently practices in Frederick, Maryland where he conducts clinical research focused on wound healing and limb preservation in patients with diabetes.

Dr. Paul M. Glat is a native of New York City, growing up in White Plains and graduating cum laude in 1984 from Princeton University. He then graduated from New York University, where he served as class president, before completing thorough post-graduate training in surgical techniques as well as advanced training at NYU Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Part of this training included study at the Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, allowing Dr. Glat the opportunity to work with international leaders in the field.

He currently teaches medical students as a Professor of Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine, and his writing and clinical research have appeared in major plastic surgery textbooks and more than 50 publications.

Rebecca has a 30 year history of clinical experience in neurosciences, intensive care, vascular, diabetic foot, wound care, clinical education and district nursing. She completed her Masters of Nursing in 2006 and has a great passion for nursing practice development. As past treasurer Vice president and now President, for the New Zealand Wound Care Society Rebecca is involved at a national / international level in practice and guideline developments.

In 2010 Rebecca completed an advanced post graduate certificate in clinical nursing.  In 2017 she completed my Nurse Practitioner training and works as the Nurse Practitioner for vascular. Rebecca has presented at both National and international conferences. Publishing in wounds UK and setting up the first conservative sharp wound debridement course in 2022.

Her areas of professional interest are using innovation to improve the patient’s journey, Lymphedema, Pyoderma Gangrenosum, Surgical site infection prevention and care of the complex vascular patient.

Suzanne Moloney, a seasoned innovator in the field of wound care, is the Founder and CEO of HidraMed Solutions. Living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa since adolescence, Suzanne's frustration with the lack of effective wound care solutions led her to invent HidraWear. Her groundbreaking work includes multiple peer-reviewed articles on the impact of HS wound care, earning her recognition through industry awards for both research and innovation.

Suzanne brings a wealth of experience and a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with chronic wounds. Through HidraMed Solutions, she continues to spearhead the development of non-adhesive wound care solutions, dedicated to improving the quality of life for those with HS and other chronic conditions.

Hadar Lev-Tov is an Associate Professor at the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller school of Medicine. He is a Board-certified dermatologist with significant interest in wound healing and medical dermatology. His work is supported in part by a career development award from the Dermatology Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and industry.
Dr. Lev-Tov completed his residency in Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City after completing a research post-doctoral training at UC Davis where he also earned his Master's in clinical research.

Dr. Abigail Chaffin is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at Tulane University.  She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and she is Medical Director of the Metairie MedCentris Wound Healing Institute.  Dr. Chaffin is also a Certified Wound Specialist Physician, and a Master of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Dr. Chaffin focuses her practice on wound medicine and wound reconstructive surgery, general reconstructive plastic surgery, breast reconstruction and complex abdominal wall reconstruction.  She has published over 40 peer-reviewed publications in plastic surgery and wound medicine.

Dr. Serena has been the lead or Principal investigator in over 100 clinical trials, including gene therapy for critical limb ischemia, antimicrobial dressings, growth factors, topical and parenteral antibiotics and CTP therapy. He founded the first wound healing cooperative research group that produced more than 12 manuscripts in 2016 alone. In 2011 he developed a diagnostic technique that now bears his name (The Serena Technique©). He holds numerous patents on wound care devices and dressings.

Jennie Feight is the Director of Health Policy for MIMEDX Group, Inc., and has worked 20+ years in wound care reimbursement and health policy.  Based in Western Pennsylvania, she completed her Masters in Health Services Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Jennie holds certifications from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) in medical coding (CPC) and medical auditing (CPMA), and is an AAPC certified instructor.  In 2022, she was honored to receive a Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star award.  She currently serves as President for the AAPC Greater Pittsburgh Area local chapter.

Dr Lullove is a distinguished podiatric physician based in Coconut Creek, FL and is the Chief Medical Officer of the West Boca Center for Wound Healing.  He delivers cutting-edge care and is recognized internationally as a speaker, researcher and clinician.  His expertise extends to health care policy, coding and reimbursement and regulatory governmental affairs.  Additionally he represents the Wound Healing Society to the Alliance of Woundcare Stakeholders helping to ensure communities have access to quality healthcare.

Kathleen D. Schaum is the President and founder of Kathleen D. Schaum & Associates, Inc. where she has served as a wound/ulcer management reimbursement strategy consultant and educator for more than 40 years.

Kathleen has consulted and educated thousands of wound/ulcer management professionals, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and sales representatives.  

Kathleen also provides reimbursement education at many regional and national wound/ulcer management symposiums. Based on her reimbursement columns in medical journals, Kathleen was recently recognized by EXPERTSCAPE as a world expert for reimbursement: – she is in the top 0.07% of more than 31,000 worldwide authors – she ranks number 21 in the world.

Ms. Ferber concentrates her practice on health care regulatory and compliance matters, representation of health care providers, and transactional work. Ms. Ferber has a wide array of experience representing and counseling clients in administrative hearings and appeals, as well as before licensing boards, accreditation agencies, and in connection with insurance disputes. Ms. Ferber also routinely negotiates the purchase and sale of health care entities and employment and independent contractor agreements, among other things. She is a member of state and national legal and health law organizations including the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar and the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Joseph Rolley is Principal at JTR Business Consulting, LLC providing market access and business consulting services to the medical technology industry. He has over 40 years of experience is sales, marketing, business development, reimbursement, government affairs and health policy. He has held senior-level positions at Integra Life Sciences, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Convatec, and been active in industry and professional associations including MedTech Europe, AdvaMed, and the National Pressure Care, Injury Advisory Panel. He is currently chair of the Real-World Evidence Group of the Wound Care Collaborative Community. He hold a B.S in Biochemistry and a M.S. degree in Industrial Administration, both from Purdue University.

Dr. Fife completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas, TX, and a two-year Fellowship in Environmental Medicine at Duke University. Until 2013 she was a Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston where she initiated the Memorial Hermann Center for Wound Healing and the Lymphedema Center. She is now a Professor of Geriatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, the Chief Medical Officer of Intellicure, LLC, and the Executive Director of the U.S. Wound Registry. She has authored more than 100 peer reviewed articles and 3 text books.

Lonnie W. Lassiter M.D., M.B.A. has a medical doctorate from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management at Yale University.  With over 20 years of experience in total patient management and wound care, Dr. Lassiter has personally performed tens of thousands of wound procedures and hyperbaric oxygen treatments.   He currently is attending physician at Wound Care Specialists PA in Forest City, NC and is an active provider of advanced wound care treatments and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Dr. Andrew Rader earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and Valparaiso University and his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed residencies at the University of South Florida, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. He is the founder of Indiana Foot & Ankle in Jasper, IN, and is in his 33rd year of practice. He also serves as the medical director of Memorial Hospital and Health Center’s Wound Care Center in Huntingburg, IN. Dr. Rader is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics & Primary Podiatric Medicine. His specialties include complex foot and ankle reconstruction, flaps and grafts and peripheral nerve surgery.

Susan Paquette leads the Wound Care area for SmartTRAK, the leading Business Intelligence Platform for Advanced Wound Care. Susan started the Biologics segment, including CAMPs, at SmartTRAK over ten years ago and has seen the opportunity and challenges associated with this market. Prior to SmartTRAK Susan held executive leadership positions at 3M and has a broad experience base in R&D, business development, marketing and international.

Dr. Adam Young received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California San Diego. His past academic research focused on the interaction of stem cells and the extracellular matrix within the context of tissue regeneration. Dr. Young has published numerous scientific articles on the impact of ECM-derived materials for wound healing and soft tissue repair. Dr. Jeffrey Niezgoda has dedicated his professional life to optimizing outcomes in wound healing. He is the Past President of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. He is Founder and President Emeritus of AZH Wound & Hyperbaric Center (2015-2021). Dr. Niezgoda was the Hyperbaric Medical Director at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee (1999-2013). Dr. Niezgoda serves as the CMO for Kent Imaging and for WebCME, an international educational wound care and hyperbaric company. Dr. Niezgoda is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy (1981) and received his MD from the Uniformed Services University of Health Science (1985).

Dr. Daniel Kapp is a highly regarded board-certified plastic surgeon and has been in private practice for more than 15 years. He is the founder of Daniel L Kapp Plastic surgery. He performs many types of plastic and reconstructive surgeries. He has extensive experience treating post Mohs defects and is a highly regarded author on the topic. Dr. Kapp is an editor of Journal of Wound Care. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He also served as the Medical Director of the Wound Center at Jupiter Medical Center. Dr. Kapp graduated from medical school at the University of South Florida and Plastic Surgery Residency at Ohio State University.

David D. Zabel, M.D., FACS, attended Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering degree. Dr. Zabel then attended the University of Cincinnati where he obtained his medical degree. Dr. Zabel completed seven years General Surgery Residency at Christiana Hospital and two years of traing at the University of California, San Francisco in the Wound Healing Research Lab. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburg where he completed his Plastic Surgery Residency. He is a retired Commander in the United States Navy Reserves.

Dr. Zabel has been in practice in Delaware since 2001 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the staff of ChristianaCare and St. Francis Hospital, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He ahs been the Chief of Plastic Surgery at ChristianaCare since 2011 and is also Medical Director of the St. Francis Wound Care Center.

Dr. Zabel specializes in reconstructive surgery and wound care emcompassing hernia repair, surgical dermatology, hand surgery, post-cancer reconstruction, post-trauma reconstruction, scar and keloid treatment, cosmetic and reconstuctive breast surgery.
